A prestigious place of study combined with comfortable accommodation

The School of Music will be held in a unique setting which in itself fosters personal development and meditation. The Château de la Moutte is a protected site in Saint Tropez, south-east France.

-  A natural source of inspiration :
4 hectares of palm trees, gardens, vineyards and woodland just 300 meters from the Mediterranean, where the "music of nature" has been definitively protected through Anne Troisier's gift to the Conservatoire du Littoral, a state body responsible for protecting the French coastline.

- A place of history and culture :
today considered a "historical monument", the Domaine de la Moutte was created in the late XIXth century by Emile Ollivier, then Prime Minister under Napoleon III. His library, which boasts over 6,000 literary works, has been kept exactly as it was, and will continue to be consulted by students. It will be expanded to include work by guest VIPs, musical reviews and more, and will also be complemented by a video and record library.

-  A musical tradition of prestige :
émile Ollivier married the daughter of Franz Liszt, instigating a prestigious musical tradition which has been nurtured to this day. Indeed, Ollivier's grand-daughter has organized a chamber music festival at La Moutte every summer for the past 25 years.

Accommodation, student meals, meeting rooms and similar facilities will be provided by Lou Riou, a well-equipped family boarding house adjacent to the Château de la Moutte. It will host students in its 35 comfortable rooms for 2 or 3, which are also well sound-proofed.
